FirenzeCasa is not an investment property or a holiday apartment furnished solely for short-term rentals. It is our home in Florence. We spend time here ourselves, cooking, reading, working and enjoying everyday life in one of the world’s most beautiful cities.
When guests stay with us, they do not enter a space designed for constant turnover. They enter a home with character, continuity and a personal atmosphere.
Many successful holiday rentals operate on a different model. Frequent guest changes require efficient cleaning schedules, standardized furnishings and carefully organized logistics. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that approach. It simply is not ours.

Frequent arrivals and departures can change the character of residential neighbourhoods and place additional strain on local communities.
By limiting the number of stays, we naturally reduce that impact. FirenzeCasa remains what it has always been: first and foremost, a private home that occasionally welcomes guests.
International discussions about sustainable tourism increasingly encourage quality-oriented travel instead of volume-driven tourism. While FirenzeCasa is only one apartment, we are happy to contribute in our own small way to that broader vision.

Rather than offering a place to sleep between sightseeing tours, we offer a temporary home where visitors can slow down, experience everyday life in Florence and enjoy the city from a more personal perspective.
