These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of FirenzeCasa Website.
HOUSE RULES AND CONDITIONS OF THE USE OF
THE APARTMENT FIRENZE CASA
1. Use of the apartment
The property will be rented to the guest only for secondary residential purposes and shall be used exclusively for tourism, with an express prohibition against any other use including as a primary residence or in connection with the carrying out of a profession, craft or business.
The use of the apartment is only permitted for the agreed number of persons. Overnight stays of non-registered persons are not permitted.
2. Apartment handover
The accommodation is delivered clean and in order. Any complaints regarding the state of the premises will be entertained only if made within 24 hours after arrival. The guests must leave the accommodation in good condition. Before their departure guests must remove rubbish and clean the kitchen. If the accommodation is not returned in the above condition, the owner or his representative are authorized to demand € 100 that has been paid at the time of departure.
3. Care and support
Normally you are cared for the time of your stay in the apartment by Mr. Alessandro. He is responsible for key delivery and apartment delivery.
We will show to you the apartment and will explain to you the use of the domestic appliances. In case you need the manuals of instructions for major information, we can send you them by E-Mail on your account.
4. Copies of ID card or Passport
In Italy the names and nationalities of persons staying in a holiday accommodation must be communicated to the authorities. So we need the copies of the ID cards or passports of all the persons who will stay in the apartment in advance by E-Mail to firenzecasa@firenzecasa.li. The transmission to this email is encrypted. Please don’t send us copies of driver licenses. If we don’t get the documents we cannot prepare the handover of the apartment.
5. Check in and Check out
Unless otherwise agreed, the following schedule applies to check-in and check-out.
Monday – Saturday
Check-in: from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Check-out: until 10 a.m.
Sunday
Check-in: by agreement
Check-out: until 10 a.m.
6. Security
- The apartment has a security door. You have the responsibility of the good use of the keys of the apartment. In case of loss we have to charge 400 € to replace the safety lock of the door.
- All the bedrooms have smoke detectors, the kitchen has a gas detector.
- It is not allowed to smoke inside the apartment. You have the possibility to smoke on the terrace.
- When you leave the apartment please close all windows and doors so that no water enters the apartment and causes damage.
- Please switch off the all the lights and be sure that the gas cooker is switched off.
7. Condominium
The apartment is located in an apartment house. Please respect the neighbors during your stay and avoid concerning loud noises during the transit by the stairs of the building, inside of the apartment and on the terrace. This applies particularly to the night for the time from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m..
8. Damage to things
The tenant must notify the owner of any defects in the building and furniture within forty-eight hours of delivery of the keys. The conductor is personally responsible for any damage caused to the property and / or furnishings. If you have broken something, please advise us immediately in order we can repair or change the object and to decide if it will be necessary to calculate a cost.
9. Cleaning and Waste
Please leave the apartment clean and discard the waste. For the waste please use the containers near the apartment.
There is an obligation to separate waste according to the indications provided by the local municipality, to which the facilities must conform in order to avoid to fined or be denied refuse collection; the client must follow the directions given on arrival for the correct separation of materials, otherwise the owner or his representative reserve the right to withhold the amount € 100 as reimbursement.
10. Internet
The use of the Internet is for the period of your stay is on your own responsibility.

11. Terrace
The terrace of the apartment is maintained as needed (in summer almost daily) by Mr. Alessandro who has access to the apartment in the time from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. In any case he will inform you in advance before he enters the apartment.
We will send you the exact address of the apartment as soon we received the copies of the ID cards or passports.
Since we are renting out our private, owner-occupied apartment in Florence, we look forward to a few lines from our potential guests to find out who we may welcome and where they are from. We will be happy to accept your request and will answer all questions about your stay.
